Job: You will add ALC Events and art events that ALC members are participating into a Google Calendar.

Time: This will take about 1 hour or less per month and can be done on your schedule.

Art Market Greeter

Skills: Be a friendly and helpful presence

Job: Sit at the entry to the Garden of Dreams. Greet and welcome visitors and direct them to our market. Pass out additional information if we have any. Click a counter so we know how many people attend.

Time: 1 or 2-hour shift one Saturday per month

Art Market Translator

Skills: Must be bilingual and friendly

Job: Assist the Art Market leader with assisting Spanish-speaking vendors. Roam the Art Market and assist vendors and customers in talking with each other.

Time: 2-hour shift one Saturday per month

Art Market Traffic and Load-In Helper

Skills: Some Spanish is helpful.

Job: Direct and assist vendors during the load-in process and inform them of the parking situation.

Time: 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. on Art Market Saturdays

Street Team

Skills: Must have transportation. A little Spanish is helpful

Job: Distribute promotional materials to stores, coffee shops, and other gathering places. Keep bulletin boards up to date. Foster supportive relationships with the owners of these venues.

Time: About 2 hours per month

Working With: You’ll work with Jeff and Chris on the Publicity Committee. Jeff will be providing you with the materials.

Job: Provide Membership information and registration form to prospective members and accept membership payments.

Time: One Saturday per month for 3 hours, 12:00 - 3:00) during the ALC Art Market.

Working with: You’ll be working with Barbara Logan

Third Thursday Membership Assistant

Job: Provide membership information and registration forms to prospective members. Accept membership payments.

Time: One Thursday per month, 2 hours (4:00-6:00)

Job: Post events and updates to the ALC Facebook and upcoming social media pages

Time: 1 to 2 hours a week

Artist interviewer

Skills: Engaging with good written and verbal communication, Some Spanish or ability to use translation software, email

Job: You will meet with artists to complete a short biography form and collect pictures of their art for future advertising opportunities that evolve with our organization’s growth. The biography forms and pictures will be emailed (contact person to be determined).

Time: 1 to 2 hours a week at first but this will taper off once current members have the opportunity to participate.
